David studied at The University of West England, Bristol and trained on the Royal Court Theatre Young Writers Programme. He is currently a resident at the Takt Kunstprojektraum, Berlin, where he is working on a new project.

David created Dream Epic Theatre in 2010 and he is an associate artist at Ugly Rhino Productions, New York. He took part in the Old Vic US/UK Exchange in 2010. He has collaborated with many international theatre companies including Salida Productions, Teatro En Vilo and Single Show Productions.

WASTE was recently shortlisted for the 2013 Bruntwood Prize for new writing.
